ADDITION
Palazzo  della  Crocetta
now  Etruscan  and  Egyptian  Museum
This  palace  was  considerably  enlarged  by  the
Grand-duke  Pietro  Leopoldo,  who  used  to  pass  several -
  months  of  the  year  in  it.  —  Adjoining  there
is  a  spacious  and  beautiful  garden  and  a  covered
gallery  which  leads  straight  to  the  Church  of  the
SS.  Annunziata.
In  this  palace  the  Government  transferred  just
now  the  Etruscan  and  Egyptian  Museum  with
other  collections  of  Etruscan  interesting  antiquities.
I  already  mentioned  at  pages  74  to  76,  this  Museum
but  at  the  time  of  my  publication  not  being  quite
arranged  it  was  impossible  to  get  in  and  make  a
thorough  description  of  its  additional  and  interesting -
  collections.  —  However  the  catalogues  will  be
published  shortly  and  will  supply  my  deficiency.
