    Heraclius qui CONSANTINVS iunior uel Nouus dictus, ab ineunte aetate sacro diademate à patre adornatus, Hic ex Gregoria filia Nicetae patritij Constantem genuit postea imperatorem. Constantinus uero iunior à nouerca Martina primo imperij anno ueneno sublatus est: Quae cum HERACLONA annis decem nato imperium inuasit, at conspiratione Senatus biennio nondum finito capti & in exilium missi, Martinae linguam praecidunt ne oratione qua plurimum ualebat, populos commoueret, puero absciderunt nasum, ne decor aut gratia in uultu miserationem facerent, & mox Constantem senatus eligit, absq́; militum consensu quod raro admodum usuuenit.
