The present Guide-Book contains all the necessary
rectifications concerning the changes of situation of the
public Galleries, the erection of new Museums, monu-
ments and public fountains; as also the opening of new
neighbourhoods, squares, gardens and markets, and the
description of the new avenues which crown the an
cient city and form the delightful promenade called the
Viale dei Colli, comprising the Piazzale Michelangelo,
from which is to be admired one of the most exten-
sive, poetical and historical panoramas of Italy.
