The Adoration of the Kings.
The Holy Virgin is
sitting by a cottage, holding her Divine Child on her
lap. The three kings are before her in adoration. A
long train of servants and animals is seen in the di-
stance.
This painting once belonged to the Imperial Gallerv
of Vienne, and was brought to Florence in 1793.
bears the monogram of the author with the date 1504.

Portrait of Charles V. A figure in full length, in
armour, on the back of a white steed. An eagle is
hovering and bearing a laurel wreath over is head.
It belongs to the Gallery since 1804. — On canvas.

on an arm-chair and holding a paper, on which one

red LII. Titianus Vecellius faciebat, Venetiis M. D.
L. Il mense Julii. » And a little lower, with the same
writing: Translatus deinde M. D. L. V. die XVIII
Septembris a Paulo quarto Pont. Maximo ad Archiepi¬
scopatum Ragusianum, quo pervenit die IX Decembris
proxime subsequentis. » —
This portrait was then exe¬
cuted in 1552 while Monsignor Beccadelli was in Ve-
