Euphrates is one easy merhileh: from Menje to 3 Kous, two 
merhileh; and from Menje to ale Melitiah, four days journey; 
and from Menje to Lw Samisat, two days journey; and 
from Samisat to jgi Hysn Mansour, one day's journey; 
from Hysn Mansour to Melitiah, two days journey; and from 
Hysn Mansour to xi Netirah, one day’s journey; and from 
Hysn Mansourto Hedeth, one day’s journey; and from 
Hedeth to i, Meraash, a journey also of one day. 
Those are the distances of theo  Seghur Jezirah. 
Now we proceed to the distances of places in the i 
Seghur Sham. From agl Eskanderouiah to 
Anbas, is one merhileh ; from Anbas to nu2e Masisah, as far 
as aiol Aditheh, one day's journey; from Aditheh to , 
Tarsous, one day's journey; from Tarsous to  Houran, 
two days journey; and from Tarsous to  Aulas, on the 
Sea of Roum, two farsang : from Anbas* to ans Kenisah, and 
Harouniah, one day's journey, or less; and from Haroun 
jah to Meraash, which belongs to the Seghour, or frontiers of 
Jezireh, is a journey of one day.
