deſcribi oporrere, vt quemadmodum ſunt præcinctiones
tres, ſint & cuneorum genera tria per eas, alterna & non

puteos. Vitruuius in graduum præcinctionibus quas di-
ximus eſſe tres. (Siquidem magna ſunt Theatra) toti-
dem cellarum regiones constituit vbi collocentur vaſa in-
uerſa quorú percuſſione ad ſpectatorum aures vox vege-
tior, clarior at ſuauior perueniret. Eas regiones in tre-
decim cellas diuidit æqualibus interuallis, ſex hinc atque
hinc, & vnam mediam. In ima præcinctione ponuntur va-
ſa quæ rationem habent harmoniæ, hoc modo. In cornuum
