PRIMVS. concipiuntur, dẽinde ꝙ defectis morbo uiribus eorũ,
aer agitatus, ex uentorum agitationibus, @ extenuatur,
unaq́ à uitioſis corporibus detrahit ſuccũ, & @ effiat
ed exibiora. Contra uero lenis & craſſus aer, qui
perflatus non habet, neq́ crebras redundantias, ꝗ,
pter immotam ſtabilitatem adiiciendo ad membraeo,
rum, alit eos & reficit, qui in his ſunt impliciti mor,
bis. Nonnuſſis placuit eſſe uentos quatuor ab oriente
equinoctiali Solanum, à meridie auſirum, ab occi,
dente æquinoctiali Fauonium, à ſeptentrionali Se,
ptentrionem, ſed quidiligentius perguiſiuerunt, tra
diderunt eos eſſe octo, maxime quidem Andronicus
cyrreſtes, qui etiam exemplum collocauit athenis tur
rim marmoream octogonon, & in ſingulis lateribus
octogoni, ſingulorum uentorum imagines exchlptas
contra ſuos cuiusq́ flatus deſignauit, ſupraq́ eam
turrim metam marmore eam per fecit, & inſuper tri,
tonem æreum collocauit dextr a manu uirgam porri,
gentem, & ita eſt machinatus, uti uento archmagere
tur, & ſemper contra flatum conſiſteret, ſupraq́ ima,
ginem flantis uenti indiæm uir gam uneret.
