mine, ac felicitate, amoreq; ſcientiarum, ac bonarum
artium, quibus te Deus, & Natura indulgentiſsimè
cumulauit. Hoc quidem ſummopere precatur, & vouet eruditorum Reſpublica, ò Princeps longe in-
comparabilis, idque vaticinatur ex hoc tuo pręclaro
decore, & ſummæ bonitatis ſpecimine: Quippe, ò
Principum decus, & ſtudioſorum delicium, perbellè
docuiſti virtutis heroicę magis proprium eſſe benefa-
cere, & alijs prodeſſe, quàm laudes meritas captare, & exigere; dum veluti epulo lautiſsimo in hac ſolemni
pompa tuarum nuptiarum, ſcientiarum cultores dona-
tos voluiſti; quid enim pretioſius, & magis expetitum
veritatis ſtudioſis præbere poſſes, quàm Quintum,
Sextum, & Septimum libros Conicorum Apollonij
Pergæi hactenus deploratos, atq; lemmata Archime-
dis, quæ Sereniſsimus Ferdinandus Secundus inclytus,
atque optimus parens tuus ex Arabico verti, & ty pis
excudi ad communem reipublicæ litterariæ bonum
iuſsit? Tanto ergo pro beneficio
