Si in ara aliqua accendatur ignis, animalia choreas ducere
videbuntur, etenim aræ perſpicuæ erunt, ſive vitreæ ſive
corneæ.

Per epipyrum demittitur tubus ad baſim aræ, qui in cnodace verſa-
tur, & à ſuperiori parte in fiſtula, quæ epipyro conjuncta ſit. Habeat
autem tubus etiam alios tubulos inflexos, ſimulque perforatos, & ipſi
conjunctos, qui inter ſeſe ſecundum diametrum diſponantur, atque in-
flexiones viciſſim teneant. Habeat præterea tympanum ſibi annexum,
cui animalia choreas ducentia imponuntur. Itaque igne accenſo calefactus
aër per fiſtulam in tubum procedit: ex tubo autem per inflexos tubulos
expulſus, & aræ alveo inhærens convertit tubum & animalia quæ choreas
ducunt.
