lique orientia, de nocte uero ſex directe.

Q uando autem Sol est in alterutro punctorum
æquinoctialium, tunc de die oriuntur tria ſigna di-
recte orientia, & tria oblique, & de nocte ſimiliter.

E st enim R egula, Q uantumcunq; breuis uel pro
lixa ſit dies uel nox, ſex ſigna oriuntur de die &
ſex de nocte,
N ec propter prolixitatem, uel breuita-
tem diei uel noctis plura, uel pauciora ſigna oriun-
tur.
E x his colligitur quod, cum hora [...] aturalis ſit
ſpacium temporis, in quo medietas ſigni peroritur,
in qualibet die artificiali, ſimiliter & nocte, ſun:
duodecim horæ naturales.

I n omnibus autem alijs circulis, qui ſunt à latere
æquinoctialis, uel ex parte auſtrali, uel ſeptentriona-
li, maiorantur uel minorantur dies uel noctes, ſecun-
dum quod plura uel pauciora de ſignis directe ori-
entibus, uel oblique, de die uel nocte oriuntur.

Prædicta de diuerſitate dierum &
noctium artificialium, per omnia terræ
loca cum alijs nonnullis accidentib. con-
ſiderare, ut ſunt diuerſi ortus & occaſus
ſtellarum, item diuerſa uiæ Solis ad om-
nes terræ tractus habitudo, unde & tem
porum & umbrarum ratio in diuerſis
ſphæræ ſitibus uariatur.
