127. SCHOLIVM.

Cum autem in propoſit. 55, viſum ſit, triangulum
G Q D, eſſe dimidium trianguli maximi inſcripti in
figura conſtante ex duabus ſemiparabolis; ſequitur
hoc eſſe ad triangulum maximum ſibi inſcriptum in
ſupra dicta ratione, continuata ratione A D, ad D Q,
diametrum trianguli æqualem G F, vt dictum eſt. Pariter cum minima trian gula circum ſcripta tam in-
finitis parabolis, quam infinitis figuris conſtantibus
ex duabus ſemiparabolis, ſint quadrupla maximo-
rum triangulorum in ipſis inſcriptorum; ſequitur
prædictas figuras eſſe ad minima triangula circum-
ſcripta, vt idem antecedens ad quadruplum conſe-
quentis: vel vt quarta pars antecedentis ad idem
conſequens.

Quodlibet conoides parabolicum eſt ad maximum conum ſibi
inſcriptum, vt pars radij baſis conoidis, quæ ſe habeat ad
totum radium vt vnitas ad numerum conoidis binario
