Medicas herbas alit, quas aliæ
regiones non niſi importatas no-
runt, maxime Rhabarbarum, & Muſcum, quæ ab Occaſu Saraceni
Aſiæ univerſæ, & exinde Europæ
inſerunt in credibili commercii lu-
cro, cum hinc viliſſimo pretio di-
ſtrahantur. Nam Rhabarbari li-
bram obolis decem emptam, ſenis
ſeptenisque aureis in Europa diven-
des. Hic etiam naſcitur celebre
multorum morborum pharma-
cum, Luſitani Signum Sinicum,
alii Sanctum vocant, ad illius,
quod ex orbe novo advehitur,
medendi ſimilitudinem, & ita na-
