Solis motus circa axem, ſenſibilis eſt ex maculis, quæ in
Solis ſuperficie ſæpiſſimè obſervantur; hæ ſingulis diebus
ſitum ſuum & figuram mutari, & nunc celerius nunc tardius
ferri, videntur; quæ omnia ex motu ſuperficiei ſphæricæ
facilè deducuntur: & Sol, qui, ſi tali motu non agitaretur,
ſemel tantùm in integro anno totam ſuperficiem Telluri ſuc-
ceſſivè obverteret, nunc illam integram, in minori quàm
unius menſis ſpatio, Terricolis videndam præbet.
